Emily + Grant | Ojai Valley Inn Engagement Session

Grant made some fireworks of his own last Fourth of July when he proposed to Emily at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. When these two told us they wanted to go back there for their engagement session we were beyond excited. This property is BEAUTIFUL and is one of the most peaceful settings you can find in Ventura County. We had an amazing day walking all over these grounds. From wandering around the Herb Garden to overlooking the majestic golf course and everything in between, it was a perfect day to capture the love these two have for each other.

After we had covered most of the Ojai Valley Inn, Emily and Grant’s engagement session wasn’t over yet.  We had just enough time to head to a nearby beach for some glorious sunset engagement pictures. Oxnard Beach Park was our next stop and our timing couldn’t have been better. After a quick wardrobe change for our stylish and fashionable couple, we headed across the grassy fields, over the sand dunes and onto the sand. We all had fun playing around in the surf and got some pretty romantic shots. As we headed back over the sand dunes we couldn’t help but stop and take it all in for one last moment.

The way they look at each other is priceless and you can see they really do love each other for exactly who they are. We had an amazing time with these two and hopefully their fun, spontaneous, energetic spirits come through in the photos.

As the day came to a close Emily and Grant were headed up to Santa Barbara to visit with his family and catch up with Grant’s cousin (Emily’s best friend). She is the one responsible for bringing these two together, so it was a fitting way to end this magical day!
