We are so happy to be back at the Ambassador Mansions and Gardens.  And for this wedding Michelle and Vitaly took full advantage of the whole property.

Their Santa Monica engagement session gave us a glimpse into how in love these two are.  So, we were ready for an abundance of romance and we knew it was going to be an amazing day.

We kicked things off with hair and makeup in Terrace Villa.  It is so much fun getting to know both sides of the bridal party while everyone is getting ready.  The jokes are usually endless and it everyone is in a joyous mood ready to celebrate.

When Michelle and Vitaly were ready, we all headed down into the gardens for the First Look.  You could see the anticipation on Vitaly’s face as Michelle approached.  With the First Look behind us, the entire bridal party assembled for the ceremony.

This particular ceremony was on the bridge in the Merritt Garden.  We love ceremonies here on the bridge because they are held “in the round” with the happy couple surrounded by friends and family on all sides and lots of unique perspectives we don’t usually get at a traditional ceremony.  The highlight of the ceremony was the deeply touching personal vows to they made to each other.

Following the ceremony and cocktail hour, the wedding shifted over to the Fowler Garden for dinner.  As usual, the toasts did not disappoint.  Lots of emotion and stories were shared from childhood friends, family, and of course the bridal party.

As the evening settled upon the property everyone was clearly in the mood for some partying.  So, during dinner Terrace Villa was converted for dancing.  And good thing, because there was plenty of it.  It all started with a beautifully choreographed first dance by Michelle and Vitaly and did not let up until the end of the night.  Not to be forgotten, dessert was set up in one of the adjoining rooms including a Halo Halo Bar.

To keep the revelers fueled, a late night snack of handmade tacos was set up.  To bring it all to a close, they chose a dramatic ending with all their guests lining the path leading away from the mansion, lighting the way with sparklers.

Michelle and Vitaly shared their beautiful lives with us and it was clearly seen throughout this beautiful day.
